What is the Scream? - Foundations to My Frusteration
May 9th, 2009There is a Primal Scream in the Wilderness that takes many forms.
The Streets - SCREAMing for the unconditional love that the slumbering church professes to have as they sit on lofty pews behind stained-glass barriers. A charade that never fooled anyone, least of all the Creator.
The True Believer - SCREAMing for the true unity with the Lover of their souls. Desiring the Holy Spirit to possess them fully - yet warring with a nature that is never satisfied with the paltry morsels of this life.
The Creation - SCREAMing for our manifestation. The hills, valleys and rivers … all animals awaiting for us to become who we were destined to be all along.
and, most important …
The Father - SCREAMing for his lost children to come home. Desiring to hold them in His arms …. they’re so close, and yet so far away.
I’ve been on the desolate side of the first 3 Screams, and can only wonder what it’s like to feel the 4th …. please God, never let me have to.
The entries in this blog are going to take a long, hard look at what keeps the Scream alive. The Scream is both a blessing and a curse.
A blessing as it moves us and spurns us on the road to fulfilling our destiny and seeing the Prophecy fulfilled as the Messiah returns.
A curse as it is a continual reminder of just how FAR we have slipped.
